Picket sign ideas

Let's try to use this thread to write down ideas for picket signs for a counterprotest. Keep them safe but still un-lame. Haha.

This is a collaboration for each counterprotest! I'm just lazy and did a global announcement!

It would be very badass if we could get cool printed signs *coughepsonprintercough* like "God loves EVERYBODY" with "everybody" all rainbowy and stuff.

The people in my Drawing for Designers class today were talking about westboro and they were all laughing about it. one guy said his friends wants to make signs saying stupid things like "god hates shoelaces" or whatever

Hahah I like that. I don't know how legal it would be, but WBC likes to put pictures of important figures of society on their signs, with things such as "Obama Antichrist" and "Falwell in Hell". I wonder if it would be alright to do one with somebody in WBC.

So, while talking with my lawyer today I asked what would be legal to put on a sign to counter-protest WBC and she said, "you can put practically anything except 'Fred Phelps has sex with chickens'"

Like I said on facebook, this gives us a lot of options to work with. we can "state" anything we want, we just can't accuse.

I suggest a sign that says "YOU AIN'T GOT NO PANCAKE MIX!"

My goal is to get a group together at like 6 at school and have a huge prayer and talk about love and god's love and accepting people and loving them, not necessarily their sins, but to not judge.
Their picket is supposed to be from 6:10- 6:40

CHS's is from 6:10 - 6:40. I'm not sure if I'm going to that one, I have closer ties with LCHS and NIC, and it's soo early.
